Bull Kelp
Bull Kelp, a species of brown algae, can grow up to two feet per day, growing a total of 80-100 feet in one season.
It has a holdfast root structure that doesn’t require soil. At the end of its life, the roots release causing the kelp float away, where it piles up on the shore.
Kelpware provides a second life for the plant after its natural life is over.
